Aussies: which is your favourite type of wattle?

They are so glorious in flower at the moment, aren't they?

My current favourite is acacia pycnantha (Golden wattle), a slender open tree with abundant golden flowers which smell sweetly.

I didnt know that there was more then one type, I thought that wattle was just wattle!

I can't name it, but my favourite has grey blue lacey leaves.

It grows to about 6 metres and has paler blooms than the Golden Wattle.

I have 2 in my back yard.

Mine have really lacey leaves.

Wattles are beautiful, but be aware they can make some people quite ill with hayfever asthma and sinus.
