Austin and hhh feud 1999-2001?

why did the feud carry on to no way out 2001 in a 2 out of 3 falls match when they already found out that rikishi ran over austin and not hhh. i know what your thinking, why am i asking this now, i just need to clear it off my head.

Triple H used Rikishi as part of his scheme to ensure that Austin wouldn't win the WWF title and end his career as well.He promised Rikishi a title shot at the 6-man h**l in a Cell at Armageddon 2000 as a reward.The feud continued as Austin took out Rikishi backstage on Raw when he returned and because he still wasn't finished with Triple H yet.
