The flamboyant right-handed batsman will be a key for his side in the upcoming Test series against Australia, starting from Thursday, December 1, 2011. He will be expecting to give similar performances in both games.
Guptill gave solid support to his aggressive partner at the other end, as the pair put on 148 runs for the first wicket. However, he was dismissed after contributing 43 runs to the total.

Bracewell was the most impressive of all the bowlers in the Kiwi line up, as he took four wickets in the innings.
There was not much time left in the match for a result, so the New Zealand team decided to get some batting practice and ended played until close of the final day.
