http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Callum-James-Ferguson-c49128 took control of the situation from then onwards with Maddinson, as both of them scored 98 runs for the third wicket partnership and sealed the advantage from the home team.
Paine also scored a valuable 37 off just 40 balls at the depth of the innings and remained unbeaten to take his team’s score to 232 runs for the loss of eight wickets in their allotted 50 overs.
Maddinson remained the top scorer for the Aussies as he made 63 runs with the help of six boundaries and a beautiful six. Fergusan also shined with 52 runs off just 67 balls in which he struck three boundaries.
Mpofu was the pick of the bowlers for Zimbabwe as he grabbed three crucial scalps after giving away just 31 runs in his 10 overs. He does not have express pace but Mpofu’s line and length was immaculate in this match.
Chasing a big target in the second innings, the home team was off to a great start and at one stage of the innings; they looked like upsetting the Kangaroos. Zimbabwe were just two wickets down with 94 runs on the board when things started to fall apart
for the home team.
They lost wickets in a heap and some of their batsmen played some reckless shots to gift this victory to Australia.
Zimbabwe lost their last nine wickets for just 48 runs as their batting line-up fell like a ‘house of cards’. The whole team was dismissed for a 142 runs in 39 overs of their innings.

were able to reach the double figures, which should be a huge worry for the Zimbabwean management.

Lyon was named as the Player of the Match for his outstanding spell of spin bowling, which changed the course of the match in favour of Australia A.
