I don't know as I have never been out of Australia.  I know people on U.S forums can be very rude.  I get shocked at the rude responses actually.  Same with some of the responses they make on this site.

I completely agree.  When I say this very thing to my American people, they look at me and ask why?  Maybe it;s just that my son lives and works there, but I find it in QLD very charming, and the people are the best.  People over there ask me what I like best about Au. and I always say the people.  They are much more laid back, and less rude than Americans, especially urban Americans.  It feels like life in the l950's when things were slower and people were less into themselves.  Don't ever change,Aussies because I plan to become a permanent resident soon..
