I am going shopping and need good stores like designer etc

Are there good Australian and International designer stores in Melbourne, what ones?

yeah, plenty of good stores in melbourne. in the cbd collins street and the sportsgirl centre, wander around the streets and laneways and you'll find plenty more. bridge road in richmond, and chapel street south yarra are also good shopping precincts, but there are also many others.

Hip brand shopping go to Chapel Street, Prahran

Good hotels depends on where in Melbourne you want to stay. Crowne Towers at Southbank is plush but $$$. Its close to everything and is right on the river. Try classy hotels on Collins Street if you want to be in the heart of the city or try serviced apartments at the Docklands if you want a harbour view.
