Australia; What is the best cordless phone with the most features and loudest ring tones?

I have just replaced my old Uniden with a wdect 3315 and even with the ring tones turned up on high I can barely hear it in my quiet small house. I hate to think how many calls I am going to miss when my kids are here making a noise! I think it's a piece of c**p and I hope I can return it to the shop but I need to know what would be the best phone to replace it with.

go 2 myer and choose one,, try it out if its too soft then u can return it if u keep receipt  u can always ask the staff

most of Australia still uses the two tin cans and peice of string...you must live in a posh part...
