Australia Zoo? Underwater World?

We're from Melbourne and planning our QLD trip, we plan on going to Dreamworld, Outback Spectacular, Currumbin Zoo (night and day tour) and are then heading up to the Sunshine Coast. Do you think that we'll be a bit zooed out by the time we get up there? I've heard a few people say the Australia Zoo is more geared up to kids and isn't as good these days. We don't have any kids so would we be better off waiting for another trip when we do? Also Underwaterworld, what's that like? Just wanting some opinions on both places cos we've heard mixed reviews and we only have 8 days up there, don't want to be disappointed!

I lived on the sunny coast for years and went to both underwater world and australia zoo many times. Personally i think that Australia Zoo is better. Underwater world is good, but you can finish it in a couple hours. They have the seal show, but considering that you are going to Sea world, you will see that there anyway. Their food court is tiny (1 shop) so you dont have much variety. Underwater world is on the Wharf which is good to look around, but i wouldn't base my trip on that. They are just shops, and shops are everywhere. Australia zoo, will take an entire day, so you get more value for money. They have a HUGE food court with lots of different food shops so you have a lot to choose from. My husband and i were more interested in Australia zoo. Underwater world seemed for the kids.

Well at the Sunshine Coast you have got Aussie World which is more of a fun park, then there's the Ginger Factory at Yandina, The big pineapple in Nambour has kind of fizzed out, past its used by date I reckon, Oh and don't forget to go to Eumundi Markets on a Saturday and Montville up on the range and have a look at all the novelty shops up there.

Australia zoo is awesome and theres so much to do and see its not at all just for kids Underwarer world is good but isnt very big
