Australia beat India to lift Emerging Cricketers T20 tournament
The Australian Institute of Sports beat India Emerging Players in the final of the Emerging Players T20 tournament by 29 runs to capture the trophy. This was the first time that the Emerging Players tournament had also seen a T20 tournament being played. Earlier, only the fifty overs version had been played.

New Zealand batted first and scored 148/6 in the 18 overs.
