  1. Look forward to seeing your posts after the first quarter final mate. But for sure, Australia is always a chance. You do know how to win. Great sporting nation, but we have seen much better Aussie teams and coaches.

If Berrick Barnes has to don the number ten jumper in the quarter - don't you think the pressure of  the game will crush the kid?

Good to see latham get fired up against the Welsh - he looks to be in good nick coming back so soon from injury. Think you are going to need Larkham to step up a gear and show some form.

Also guys like Lote T- I reckon he is only their because he is being paid too much not to be present. The question you need to ask is why can't Knuckles get the best out of him ?  - he should be one of the top try scores of the tournament - hasn't looked close to finding his straps just yet.

  2. Keep trying to convince yourself there Wayne.

You know Australia have no show this year and thats why you are already jumping on the Springbok band wagon.  Even the most deluded, die hard Wobbly fan knows that NZ will probably kick them in the semi but no one can blame you for patriotism.

As for the "Greatest RWC record".  You only have one final win more than South Africa, NZ and England.  You lost the 3rd vs 4th game against WALES and didn't even make the semi's in '95!!!!!!!!!  Those two things are bad enough but the crowning glory is that you will ALWAYS be responsible for giving England a RWC.  That is totally inexcusable and should be a something that has you banished from the world of rugby..... and it was at HOME!!!

Good to see you are not proudly hailing your 4 finals appearances though... or NZ's one final appearance... looked up the record book since then have we?

  3. The walabies beat wales (by only 12 points) =  the bounce of the ball try....and a few missed welsh penalties..

They cheated like h**l just to stay in the match and had two players removed from the field of play..one for deliberately preventing a try.

Think they all looked quite "fearful of failure" to - to be fair..

  4. Wayne, it's a persuasive argument.  I agree with you wholeheartedly.  Go wallabies!!!
