WHERE IN AUSTRALIA IS THE CHEAPEST PLACE TO BUY PROPERTIE (4 BED HOUSE) BUT NOT IN THE OUT BACK? AND HOW LONG DO U HAVE TO LIVE THERE BEFOR YOU CAN GET A MORGAGE?

To see prices on the cheapest in Australia go to http://www.realestate.com.au - type in price range and hit the search button - or search for 4 bedroom home and arrange the search by price, the cheapest first.

For FREE land in Australia,  plenty around ... but comes with conditions - google.com.au -  free land and you will see what I mean.

As for a mortgage, you will have to be working for a couple years at least to show (the bank or finance company) you have a steady (job) and income before you buy or build a home.  Don't forget the home deposit also.

you have no hope of a morgage until you are settled and established in australia,and working. need to be working or a few years i would imagine

Tasmania and the Northern Territory (I think) are the cheapest places to buy houses. Sydney, Melbourne and Perth are the most expensive capital cities. The bank will need proof of a permanant job before they will lend you any money.
