Australia in 10 years?

What do you think our great nation will be like in 10 years time under the labour government? I think we will go downhill. Yes, there are great things the governement are doing but look at the interest rates!

Look at other issues in our nation such as crime, education, healthcare as well as the treatment of indigenous people.

Have you seen on the news the violence in their villages?It is 3rd world.

Yes I love Australia, but I shatter to think what we will be like in 10 years.

Your dams on the Gold Coast may be full, but they are to small to support such a large population, particularly if everyone starts to water their lawns. 3 minute showers are enough, obviously.

Personal crime in Australia is actually down, drug related crime is on the increase. Indigenous crime, education and welfare is linked to drug and alcohol abuse. It has always been there, it just never got the attention it gets now.

Interest rates are self correcting, if people could not afford large mortgages, they should not have signed on the dotted line. Anyone smart enough to have a job and get a mortgage should be smart enough to see that interest rates had levelled and were going to go up again. Mortgagee sales will occur, house prices will drop slightly, then go up in 5 years time, like they always have. Interest rates will go up this year, level off, and come down in two years time, just like they always have.

Cities like Brisbane are allowing complete over-population - the traffic is insane, they're over-developing the CBD and water is absolutely going to be an issue forever. I think Brisbane is going to be a dump in 10 years time. Sydney has capacity to grow and I don't know - I love Sydney so I cant say too much :) But I think the water issue is a huge thing - we'll be too much in drought and so muhc will be affected.

Im not racists (have a large diversity of friends) but we're going to be overrun by Asian cultures - I guess like a lot of nations
