Australia in West Indies 2012: 4th ODI – West Indies bowlers to watch out for
The West Indies cricket team is all set to play visiting http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Australia-c746 in the fourth One Day International of the five-match series to be played at the Beausejour Cricket Ground, Gros Islet, St Lucia on Friday, March 23, 2012.
After a thrilling last over tie in the third one-dayer at St Vincent last Tuesday, the series is still levelled at 1-1 and the Windies must be looking  forward to win their first series against Australia since 1995, by winning the last two ODI at St Lucia.
Whilst batting continues to remain the weak point of hosts, their bowling has been outclass in the three ODIs played so far. The Windies spin attack, featuring likes of Sunil Narine and http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Marlon-Nathaniel-Samuels-c74804, has troubled the formidable Australian batting line
up the most. Right-arm fast bowler http://www.senore.com/Cricket/KAJ-Roach-c1758 has ably complimented the spinners to restrict the hostile Australian batting line-up to below par totals of around 200 in the last three games.
Sunil Narine:
The 23-year-old right-arm off spinner from Trinidad has caused the maximum trouble to the Australian batsmen so far in the series. With a tally of 8 wickets in three matches at a startling average of 10.37 and an economy rate of 2.98, the offie stands at
the top of the wickets chart of the series.
During his team’s previous encounter with the resurgent Aussies, Narine bagged a three wicket haul conceding just 32 runs in a spell of 9.5 overs. His haul of 3 wickets also included crucial wicket of wicketkeeper batsman http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Matthew-Wade-c1933.
In the second one-dayer of the series, which the hosts won by 5 wickets, Narine played key role in restricting the visitors to 154, returning with figures of 4 for 27 in his quota of 8 overs,  which also included a maiden over.
Narine, who is yet to debut in the Test and T20 formats of the game, made his maiden appearance in the One Day Internationals during http://www.senore.com/Cricket/India-c750 in December last year. Till date,  he has played six One Day Internationals for the Windies claiming
11 wickets at an average of 18.54.
Kemar Roach
Kemar Roach will be the other bowler whom the Windies would be relying upon when they take the field against Australia in the fourth One Day International at the Gros Islet tomorrow. The 23-year-old Barbados speedster has been the most successful Windies
pacer on the spin friendly Caribbean pitches so far in the series. With six wickets from past three games, the Barbadian pacer stands out as the second highest wicket taker for the team, overall third behind teammate http://www.senore.com/Cricket/XJ-Doherty-c2804.
Making his ODI debut in August 2008 against http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Bermuda-c2853, Roach has so far played 39 One Day Internationals and has 62 wickets in his name at an impressive average of 25.59, including a career best figures of six for 27.
