Australia name Women’s World T20 squad – Cricket News Update
Cricket Australia on Wednesday named its 14-member final squad for next month’s http://www.senore.com/Cricket/ICC-World-Cup-2011-c100625 Women's World T20 Championship, to be held in Sri Lanka.

the esteemed tournament. The rest of the squad remains the same that won the India series 4-1.
Ebsary, the 29-year-old http://www.senore.com/Cricket/South-Australia-c844 all-rounder, who has not played for her country since February 2010, earned selectors’ nod based on her impressive all-round performances for state side last summer.
"We believe that Lauren's all-round ability across the three disciplines of batting, bowling and fielding gives the team more competitive options for success in this event," http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Raymond-Julian-c84343 Savage, the chair of Cricket Australia women selectors,
said.
The Australian women recently have had a two-week training camp in Sri Lanka, the host for the latest edition of the global event, and Julie hoped the experience would come handy come Australia’s first world cup match against India
Women, at Galle, on September 27.
"We anticipate that this ICC World Twenty20 will be a very challenging event ... our recent experiences in Sri Lanka on a training camp over the last two weeks revealed significant improvements in the Sri Lankan side,” said the Julie,
a former Victoria Women cricketer.
"Very few of the squad had played cricket in Sri Lanka previously, thus the training camp has provided the perfect conclusion to our preparation for success at the ICC WorldTwenty20," she added further.
During the training camp, the Australian women played some competitive games against hosts http://www.senore.com/Cricket/New-Zealand-c754 women teams as well as against a Sri Lanka Under-19 men's team.
The latest edition of the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup gets underway in Galle, Sri Lanka, on September 26 and will run until October 7. All the matches will be hosted by Galle International Stadium. The Aussies will also play a warm-up
