Australia or New Zealand?

which is better for a 22 year old college grad looking for a good job, a good house, and a laid back life style???????

I live in Australia, but I  would say New Zealand. I think it is easier to get into. If you wanted a laid back lifestyle, I would go live in Rotorua or Hamilton. And houses are really cheap over there, you can even buy them on eBay!

AUSTRALIA it would have to be the best place to live

the best place would have to be in northern Queensland right on the water looking out at the Crystal clear waters of the great barrier reef. There are even many tropical islands where they have shops and bars for food and drink. These islands have limited access. Most have golf buggies so the noise level is lower. These islands are like paradise.

I'd go for Australia.  It's true there are some difficulties with water in some places, but it's not like you're going to die of dehydration or anything.  On the other hand there is a very real possibility of drowning if you go to New Zealand.

New zealand.

Australia has a lot of problems with water, drought and its very expensive for food and petrol.

New zealand is more beautiful and relaxed , not so "fast" as Australia.

I live in Aus but was born in NZ . I love Aust but worry about our future with the drought we have and the cost of living.

lol i was born in nz but id definately go for australia. No offence to nz but in australia you have alot more opportunities and the money side of things is alot better

more laid back and great weather - we also have better accents (no offense the kiwi's) house prices are expensive but i think it is worth it!

more people, by far, emmigrate from new zealand to australia than from australia to new zealand. this suggests that australia has better opportunities
