  1. no im not goin but have a good time....!

  2. My best friend is having 2 people stay at her house for world youth day. I'm really excited to meet them, I love people with accents :)

  3. Have a look at http://www.homestaynetwork.com.au/

They do say a minimum of 4 weeks, but they may be doing something special for that event ?

We sometimes do Student Homestays ourselves, here in Brisbane, but it's a bit far to travel to Sydney :)  The common rate in our area is about A$200 per week.

  4. no but when i went, i went to the rodneys. look them up, they were a very well off host family

  5. no, but have a look at bondi lodge, at bondi beach, sydney. cool location and cool people. have fun

  6. iam in sydney. whats host a family? is it where u can get people that are comming to world youth day staying at your place?

  7. I was going to go to world youth day but the price is stupid! It's $400!

Pretty much every Catholic school in Australia is OBSESSED with it!

There's supposed to be thousands of people at Randwick Racecourse which is going to be so chaotic!

My Religion teacher is hosting a family and a few of my friends. I wanted to host someone but you have to admit, these people could have come from anywhere! It's pretty freaky even though they do do a thorough check on everyone.

But yeah, I will be in Sydney during that time. Probably just staying at home since all the bloody roads are closed! But yeah, have fun!
