Australia v Pakistan - Australia tour of http://www.senore.com/Cricket/United-Arab-Emirates-c3033 - 2nd ODI - Toss Report
Australia have won the toss against Pakistan and elected to bat first in the second match of the ongoing three-match one-day series, at Sheikh Zayed Stadium, Abu Dhabi.
Leading the series after winning the opening game, Australia would now be looking to bat a massive total on the board to halt Pakistan from chasing down the required target needed to level the series.
Pakistan are without all-rounder, http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Mohammad-Junaid-Khan-c77037 is expected to make his way in place of the all-rounder.
Captain’s comments:
Australia:
http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Clarke-c51120: We will bat today. The wicket looks fantastic and we will look to post a good score. The wicket will be a bit slow, we are confident that we can defend a score over here. No changes in our team. We have worked out a bit of Ajmal through videos but we need to play him well.
Pakistan:
Misbah: Nobody is really sure thanks to the dew. Unfortunately, Afidi is out with a back injury, Rehman replaces him. Junaid will play instead of Cheema. We are looking forward for the pacers to start well, our spinners have usually done well for us over the last couple of years.
Pitch Report:
The pitch at http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Imtiaz-Sheikh-c64290 Zayed Stadium will aid the spinners, and could be a low scoring wicket if spinners from both sides manage to trouble the batsmen. Pacers will have a tough time bowling on this slow wicket. The side batting first, would be comfortable after posting a reasonable total as batting second would become a tad difficult.
Teams:
