Despite admitting the fact that it will not be simple task to lift Aussies who are down after two consecutive Twenty20 defeats against Sri Lanka, the Australia captain, Michael Clarke, has claimed that he is ready for the leadership challenge.

Since the Aussie side is going through re-development, the skipper realises the importance of Sri Lanka's tour, conceding that victory against the islanders will infuse a new life in the side.
"If we win, it'll help. If we win the one-day series, I think that will definitely build confidence and momentum leading into the Test series. That's the goal. The goal is to play as well as we can in this one-day series, hopefully win the series and then
we'll look forward to the Tests after that," added the 30-year-old all-rounder who has served Australia in 198 ODIs.
He further asked his teammates not to take things lightly, as the Lankans will be an extremely tough opposition in their home conditions.
