individual total up to triple figures, and departed in the very next over, dislodged by Dhammika Prasad (24-2-102-3).

Prasad attempted to keep the tourists in the game, and appeared to be succeeding for a small period of time. He followed up Watson’s dismissal by sending http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Matthew-Wade-c1933 packing on 1, and Australia found themselves at 315 for 6. However, Mitchell Johnson (73*)
stepped up with the bat to get the home team back on track.
Johnson set up a 61-run 7th-wicket stand with http://www.senore.com/Cricket/PM-Siddle-c2197 (13).
Siddle was eventually snapped up by Eranga as his second wicket of the day, and succeeded to the crease by http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Nathan-Michael-Lyon-c78822 (0*). By stumps on day 2, Johnson had enabled Australia to reach 440 for 8, and build up a lead of 284 runs, with 2 wickets remaining in
their first innings.
