Australia v Sri Lanka: 3rd Test at Colombo, Day-4 – Second Session Recap
The Australians were in a handsome position to go for a big total in the second innings, as the Kangaroos reached 127 for the loss of two wickets at the end of the second session on the 4th day of the ongoing third Test against Sri Lanka at Colombo,
on Monday, September 19, 2011.
The visiting side started off its innings just before the lunch break when Sri Lanka went all out after collecting 473 in reply to Australia's first innings total of 316. The Aussies were on 16/0 at the beginning of the second session.

On the other end, Hughes was phenomenal as he treated the Lankan bowlers with no respect, hitting the ball with authority.
At the tea break, the opener was unbeaten on 78 while the former skipper was yet to trouble the scorecard. The only two wickets to fall in the session were grabbed by the left-arm spinner.
