While the score was decent enough on this surface, Pakistan still needed to put their backs in to restrict the opposition from reaching the target. But a series of missed catches left Pakistan bowlers battered and bruised. With three quick wickets by Ajmal, Misbah made a blunder by taking him off which cost Pakistan, as Michael Hussey and MS Wade put Australia back in the running for the series by steering the side to a total of 159.
The partnership was broken by http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Abdur-Rehman-c41691, but by that time, the Aussies knew exactly what was needed to win the game.
Hussey and GJ Maxwell ripped apart Pakistan’s bowling attack, taking the score 226, before pacer http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Mohammad-Junaid-Khan-c77037 showed Hussey (65) the way off.
