The left-handed batsman said that the Australian players are determined to rise to the summit of the International Cricket Council Test rankings and reclaim their number one spot from http://www.senore.com/Cricket/England-c56013.
The Aussies are on the way up in Test cricket after incinerating http://www.senore.com/Cricket/India-c750 four nil in the recently concluded Test series. Hussey revealed that there is hardly a day when they do not talk about regaining their lost throne.
Hussey, who wrote a column for the Perth newspaper The Sunday Times, referred to the whitewash of the Indian team, as a step forward to regain former glory. The left-hander wrote, “There's no hiding our ambition in the wake of our 4-0 Test series win over
India. We want to reclaim the world number one mantle from England. How often do we talk about it? Every day.”

been a noteworthy performance.”

arch rivals England.
The resurgence of the Aussies can be credited to the emergence of young cricketers such as http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Iftikhar-Ali-Khan-Pataudi-Nawab-of-c64075 Cummins, along with members of the old guard like Ponting, Hussey and Clarke returning to form.
Despite the near perfect performances, Hussey still believes that there is plenty of room for improvement. The Aussies are yet to lose a series under Clarke’s captaincy and their next Test outing in March is against a relatively weaker opposition, the West
