Australian opening batsman, Shane Watson has said that Australia will fight until the last moment in the on-going second Ashes Test at Adelaide.
Australia has again found themselves in trouble, as they now face an uphill task to save the match. They were completely been outplayed in the bowling department and were unable to control the runs flow, as their bowlers failed to keep pressure on the English
batsmen.
Apart from Ryan Harris, none of the Aussie bowlers were able to trouble the English batsmen in their first innings. There was a need from their bowlers to bowl a decent length in their spells, but most of their bowlers were unable to test the batsmen much.
Australia, at the end of day 4, managed 238-4 and still trial by 137 runs of the England total. The batting will play a major role for the Aussies on the last day of the Test match, and it would require a Herculean effort from their batsmen to save the match.
Shane Watson’s spirits are still upbeat, and he has declared that http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Australia-c746 is going to fight till the end on the last day. Australia do need this kind of spirit in their camp, as they have not shown that much dedication that has been associated with them
in the past.
They have also been criticised for their sloppy fielding, and it seems the pressure of the series has grown in them.
http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Watson-c96326 has performed well so far by scoring two fifties in the match. He bowled well in England’s first innings and bowled 7 maidens in his spell of 19 overs. Apart from these economical figures he also took 1 wicket in his spell.
Watson said that he really hopes to convert his good starts into big innings for his team. He also said that he feels he is batting really well, but a point comes in his innings in which he is not able to convert the starts into big innings. It was also
noted in the Brisbane Test that Watson was able to get good starts, but failed to convert them into a big total.
