Hyundai A-League side, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/North-Queensland-Fury-c40080 are focusing seriously on the future now as coach, Franz Straka and manager, Robbie Middleby are focusing to bring out new goals for the team's last 7 games of the season.

It is very unlikely that the Fury will finish the season in the top 6, but they are planning to treat the season’s remaining seven matches as a platform for all players in the squad to gain some experience that will come in handy for the next season.

It is believed that the changes will not be that drastic; Straka is considering working on a squad rotational system which will pre-dominantly emphasize on those Fury players who haven’t been given much game-time this season.

Middleby believes that finishing in the top 6 is still achievable no matter how bad the odds are, but he is being realistic this time and wants to work on a long-term future plan rather than a short-term plan.

Middleby also added that he has discussed these things with the coach and thinks that the time is right to give the overlooked players a chance to prove themselves.

It is a good ploy by the management to give the fringe players a chance to impress the coach and it might be helpful for the club to find a few good players who can become important members of the squad for the next season.

It was initially thought that the already established players at the club might not welcome the idea of being a part of the rotation policy, but Middleby believes that they will also get a lot of game time.

Fury coach, Straka was also very excited about the upcoming plan and said that it will be a great opportunity for all the players in the team to show their worth. Straka thinks that the top 6 dream is over but winning matches is still important no matter what.

Only 7 matches are left in this season’s Hyundai A League but Straka is hopeful that his players will still have the hunger and desire to win games so that they can finish the season on a strong note that they can carry on to the next season.

North Queensland Fury will host Newcastle Jets this Saturday at the Dairy Farmers Stadium.
