Australian Anime Scene?

I would like to know if Madman Entertainment carry out sales anytime during the year. Also, is there an Australian anime retailer that is like The RightStuf International, where they conduct regular sales.

In Australia whether there are sales for Madman entertainment depends on the individual retailer. Also there does not seem to be anything like RightStuf in Australia most people download or order online from overseas anime they cant get in Australia. There is a lot more interest in anime in Australia these days but there is still not as big a scene as the U.S or Japan. But remember there are also not as many people.

If you subscribe to Madman's mailing list, they'll email you when they have sales on (which can be quite frequent).

There are anime retailers around but they are few and far between.

You can try anime conventions. They're the best for anime stuff to buy and see. Such anime conventions as;

- Animania (Sydney/Brisbane)

- Manifest (Melbourne)

- Supernova (Sydney)

- Wai-Con (Perth)

- SMASH (Sydney)
