Australian Gold Rush chinese miners?

I am doing a project on how the chinese miners were treated by the law and the European miners, plz help!!

as you well know chinese miners were very well hated due to there differences from the others another reason they were disliked was that they looked for gold in the heaps of dirt the other miners left and sometimes found gold but they had the same law and the same license price. (least they go something that the others got)

they were treated badly because of their ethnic background but they were smarter than the Europeans. When digging for gold the europeans were only looking for the huge pieces of gold and often ignored the dirt they dug up. the chinese often looked through the dirt and found many small pieces of gold which ended up getting more than what most European miners got.
