Australian Open 09 (Mens Final)?

Hi,

I have a group of around 6 people who want to go to the mens final next year. I have found a few packages with the mens and ladies final, but we would prefer to go to just one.

How hard is it to buy them through Ticket Tek when they go onsale?

If I'm sitting on the computer (the second they go onsale) will it be easy to get tickets??

you will have no problem at all but i would recomend getting the tickets directly through the tournament sales office or whoever is the ticket sponsor for the open( they are cheaper that way) infact you will most likely you will still get good tickets even up to 2 months before the tournament begins

Ticketek has a habit of selling out of tickets in minutes.

I would recommend getting them early anywhere else.

Unless you have the luxury of sitting on the computer all day and being in the ticketek queue, you have buckleys chance of getting anything.

Often you can sell unwanted tickets at the gates early in the morning.  Go for the package.

forget it! the australian open is going to be moved to china in 2010! it will be the 1st grand slam of the year and will be called the china open!

Right now I don't think you'll have too much trouble. I'd recommend going to the mens match because there are so many new undiscovered talents to be shown in '09. Shouldn't be too hard. If you go, have fun!
