isnt mel gibson australian ?i always thought he was.i remember seeing nicole kidman in a series set in the vietnam era,sword of honor i think the name was?about aussie soldiers in vietnam.shes an aussie isnt she?.what about that guy Paul Hogan,ive seen his old show very funny,i like the scene where he does Elvis,moody blue.my favourite mel gibson movie is Gallipoli.also another movie with aussie connection i like is The Lighthorsemen.havnt seen it in years.

Mel Gibson is Australian.  Also Guy Pearce, Russell Crowe, Hugh Jackman, Nicole Kidman, Naomi Watts, Cate Blanchett, Heath Ledger, Eric Bana, Miranda Otto, Adam Garcia, Geoffrey Rush, Hugo Weaving, David Wenham.  Some people will try and tell you that Martin Henderson and Sam Neill are Aussies, but they're not - both are Kiwis!
