Australian judges screwed up...blame China?

Australian judges screwed up the women's gymnastics judging last night.

How can we blame China?

I'm not blaming China. But the thing is, "if" the Chinese gymnasts are underage, it gives them an advantage because you're more flexible.

People are blaming the judge for obviously failing to recognize Nastia's phenomenal routine when he/she saw it.

You need to blame to new scoring system, the judges are only following the rules they were given. I think if two people finish on the same score the two people should get gold.

I'm sure the Australian judge is qualified enough and therefore entitled to his/her own judgement. No one is measuring the gymnists' executios with computer precision. Scoring systems (for any sports) get revised and renewed all the time (and I'm sure that's for good reasons to start with). People will eventually understand and get used to the new system.

And on a side note to everyone making snide remarks towards Americans on here. WE DONT CARE WHAT YOU THINK OF US SO GET OVER IT! And oh, at least we dont sit there and bash on and blame our problems on other countries. We won two world wars because Europe couldnt do it. Are ANY of you qualified, professional Gymnastics Judges, or just lounge chair experts who can tell who is better and who is not by what flag they are wearing on their arms - basically doing exactly what you are accusing the judges of doing.

becuase the chinese government are cheaters?!

half of the chinese women gymnasts are like 12 years old.

they cheated by knowingly sending obviously underage gymnasts into the olympics. they're the ones who put their age on their passports.

they only sent them because, they thought the underaged gymnasts can bring home more medals for them.
