Australian off road track maps for Garmin 520?

Bought my boyfriend a Garmin 520. We've been trying to figure out how to get an off road map of NSW on to it without much success.

Does anyone know where we can obtain one? Have been to Oziexplorer but can't tell which kind are off road and which whether it would even work with the Garmin.

Any tips/advice/suggestions will be most welcomed. Thanx.

I'd be interested to know if there is an answer to your question.  I have always suspected that many of these nav. systems are good for USA and maybe Europe but almost useless outside major Australian cities or off major highways (like mobile phones).  I might be wrong though.
