What is the manufacturer and model number of the diesel locomotives that pull the Great Southern Railway luxury express, "The Ghan?

The cabs are different, but other wise they look like General Electric locomotives used in North America.

The Ghan's locomotive is a Cv40-9i model, designed by A. Goninan & Co Ltd Cardiff N.S.W. and General Electric Company USA and manufactured by A. Goninan & Co. Bassendean W.A.
