Australian rules football vs American football vs Rugby vs Soccer?

Which of these sports is the funnest to play? Why?

Aussie football looks like fun on TV when I watch it, it's seemingly a brutally physical game with no stoppage.

American football is american..go hard for 10 seconds, take a break, relax, eat a chip, take a drink, next play

Rugby is another brutal sport. Non stop action but not easy to play...

Soccer is like sitting on the couch..it's nice and fun, but can also put you to sleep...1 Nil is just boring...

  1. Played them all bud, and I have to say in Australia playing by NCAA rules that I have had the most fun playing Gridiron as a middle linebacker and pass rush defensive end.

Indoor soccer is also fun with mates at a sports center.

  2. Have you ever played American Football we played at my school (I go to an Australian school in NSW) it is not that easy it is a lot harder than League or Union also those protective pads (When we play we don't use them) are 10-15 Kgs they are a lot stronger than Australian footballers that is for sure

    American Football is best

  3. some years ago and I'm takling 20+ years, we had an American football team come to Australia and they played a game of our footy to see what they thought of it, but gave up because they thought it was to rough, in our football games we don't wear all the protective gear your American footballers do. as for the other games I can't tell you anything about them.

  4. American football is about strategy, while Aussie rules football, rugby, and soccer are non-stop action. I like American football the best because of the strategy involved. Most of the world does not know what it is about because they don't play it or watch it.

For the first guy, im not sure if we came over to australia to play your game, and if we did, it was probably a very small university. The reason why american footballers could not keep up with the aussies is because they are not built to run for hours and still play hard. They are too big and strong to have great endurance. However, they are built to play american football. If you all came to america to play our game, the players couldnt handle it either. The biggest players wouldn't be over 100 kg, while Defensive tackles are about 136. try blocking someone who is 36 kg's heavier than you for a whole game and see how fun it is.

  5. I say Aussie rules. Its fun to watch and fun to play and you can play other things like kick to kcik and king of th pack if there arent enough people.

Soccers fun to play, but not to watch. American football...well you said it all, it stops too much. And rugby stops quite a bit too. AFL has more skill I reckon.

TUS - Weve watched American football. Plenty of it too. Its in all those movies just like all the other American sports. So we know what it is and how to play.
