There is a weapon that i would really like to know the name of...but cant remember. i cant really explain it very well but it has three balls connected by strings. You can see one of these things in kangaroo jack (the movie). you use it buy throwing it and the balls sling around and tangle the rope around the animals legs.

Yeah, i know its not much of an explanation but if you can help me remember the name that'd be lovely!

  1. Vanigon nailed it. The Bolo is a South American tool, used by the Gaucho's (South American cowboys) to fell animals. I call it a tool rather than a weapon, because as you state, it tangles around the animals legs causing it to fall without generally being injured. It often is used to re-capture strays.

Bolos are still being used by latter day gauchos in many

South American countries to this day.

  2. It's a three ball bola or bolo

It's from South America, not sure why they would put it in a movie that perpetuates the stereotypes of Australia

  3. animal bola

  4. That particular thing is called a Bola and it isn't specifically Australian.
