Australian working in new zealand?

Hey

I live in australia and am hoping to go to new zealand for a working holiday. Im assuming i dont need a visa to work there do i? what about a passport?

  1. If you are an aussie citizen then you can work without a visa, but you will need your passport ( aussie  one preferably)


  2. You definitely need a passport, and if you plan to work, despite being an Aussie, you will need a Visa, stating how long you plan to stay.

  3. Australian citizens do not need a visa to work in New Zealand. They are treated exactly the same as if they were Kiwis with no restrictions on where or how long they can work or stay.

    You must have a valid passport, both to enter NZ and to get back into Australia.
