Australians! Did you know we have puppy farms like in China, RIGHT HERE!???

I just accidentally discovered the most horrible webpage - http://www.govegan.com.au/puppies/

I cannot believe that we have China's equivalent of puppy farms right here in Victoria. How many people know about this??

THIS is where the pet store puppies actually come from!!!!!!!!

China's not the only country with puppy mills. They're everywhere. :/ It's a huge problem in the US.

I'm not sure where you got the China idea from but of course there are puppy farms in Australia.  Where there is money to be made by people with no further care or thought once the pups have left their home there will be puppy farmers.

No reputable breeder would ever sell a pup to a shop and in fact my contract clearly states that no dog (or offspring of that dog) shall ever be placed in a petshop, puppy mill, sales agent or security company.

Until the public is educated about dog breeding, genetic disorders, the problems caused by lack of socialisation and too early weaning then these puppy millers will continue to thrive.
