Austrian Airlines - What's it like flying with them?

I'm travelling with Austrian Airlines for the first time this summer, and I was just curious to know what the planes are like. Are the seats cramped together? Also I heard they have the TV things on the seat in front.

P.S - I'm flying coach not first class : )

Thanks : )

  1. No, its fun.

  2. Well, i just made transatlantic flights with them-- Boarding is chaotic- Passengers don't like listening. Plane was boiling the entire trip, both ways (you don't need a blanket, that was in march!). Food was delicious both ways. Planes did not have mini tv's, and they were different aircraft. Austrian said that not all planes have the promised PTV's. Seats on sides had more legroom then middle seats. Headrests all broken, so sleeping was hard. Crew were great, and always had drinks for passengers. All flights were on time. It was difficult to hear tv though, very old system. Movies-- out of 5 both ways, one did not have talking animals--they really like disney. All baggage made it both ways. They're okay...
