Authentic Jersey Sizing help?

Ok so I want to get an authentic Lincecum Jersey yes i know im a sox fan but he is one of my favorite players. So the sizing on mlb.com shows the sizes in numbers. I don't know what size to get. I wear 2x shirts and my waist size for my pants is a 38 so im a bit fat. So someone help me please its hard for me to figure out the sizes.

  1. Go XL possibly XXL, call them to see how tight they are to the body.


  2. The MLB Authentic jerseys are made a little different than the replica ones. They are athletic cut, meaning they are bigger in the chest and tighter in the waist. A good measure to determine your size would be to use the size you wear in a t-shirt. So you said you wear an XXL t-shirt, so I would go with a size 52 (XXL) or a 56 (big 2X).

    SportsK.com has low prices and alot of sizes you could try there.

    I have a couple of MLB Authentics. I have a size 44 (Large) and it fits fine and I have a 48 (XL), which is pretty baggy, although I am pretty thin. I would go with the big 2X if I were you so it fits loose. Bigger is better!
