I have been reading a book on how japanese and some other asian cultures are healthier than americans and it has some recipes and good portion sizes but when I look up japanese recipes they seem to be americanized especially the portions. I have been working to cut back my portion sizes the last week and in one week I lost 2 pounds before that I was trying to cut back on the bad food and work out an hour a day on the treadmill it took me 3 weeks to loose a pound and a half. I am sure there is a key to the portion sizes as well as the type of food they eat. Anyhow any information on authentic japanese meals and proper portion sizes would be greatly appreciated
