Authorized or informational birth certificate for new passport?

I am trying to get a new passport for my baby and I found I need his birth certificate. Then I find there are two types of birth certificate (authorized and informational). Which one should I use?

You have to use the Authorised certificate. That gives all the information that is required for verification. To be on the safe side contct or call in to the Registrar's office to be sure

authorized.  must be a certified copy from the county of birth.

Call that county's clerk for assistance.
