  1. 1. What is the Automated Check-In Machine (ACM)?

The Automated Check-In Machines (ACM) by Singapore Airlines are self-service kiosks to help you with a faster and more convenient way of checking-in. This mode of check-in is available to all passengers with confirmed tickets on Singapore Airlines. The check in process should take approximately 3 minutes and include printing of your boarding pass.

    2. What services do ACM offer?

ACM check-in currently enables you to do the following:

    · Check-in for a single passenger

    · Perform seat changes after check-in

    · Print boarding pass

    · Update Frequent Flyer mileage

    3. When is ACM check-in available?

All ACM check-in services are available between 50 minutes and 48 hours prior to flight departure time.

    4. Who can use ACM check-in?

ACM check-in is available to all Singapore Airlines passengers with the exception of the following categories:

    · Passengers under the age of 17 who are travelling alone (unaccompanied minors)

    · Passengers under the age of 17 who are travelling without passengers above the age of 17

    · Passengers who have indicated a need for special or medical assistance to be provided

    · Passengers who are unable to confirm the necessary security or visa /immigration requirements and require  special assistance.

    · Passengers travelling in a group of 5 or more

    · Passengers who are travelling to destinations in the USA

    5. What type(s) of documents are needed for ACM check-in?

ACM check-in requires one of the following to begin:

    · Paper ticket issued by Singapore Airlines or your travel agent

    · Electronic Ticket (ET) number

    · KrisFlyer card

    · Credit card used to pay for the ticket

We recommend you use our electronic ticketing system as frequently as possible, as it stores all  ticket details in our database and saves you the need to key in that information again during the check-in process.

Please note that all passengers are required to scan in their passports which should be valid for at least 6 months.

Please note that ACM can only accept standard credit cards currently. Credit cards similar to the "Mini Card" that have an irregular size format or cards with round edges are not accepted at the ACM.

    6. Where can I find my Electronic Ticket number?

An electronic ticket number (ET number) is a 13-digit number issued by the system upon the confirmed purchase of a ticket from Singapore Airlines. If you made your ticket purchase online, you will find this number in the top area of your confirmation email.

    7. Who is able to use the seat change function on the ACM?

ACM seat-change function is available for all Singapore Airlines passengers.

    8. Where is the ACM available?

This mode of check-in is currently available at the Changi International Airport, Singapore. We will be offering this service in more international airports shortly.

    11. Am I able to use ACM check-in for connecting flights operated by other airlines?

    12. How many flights am I able to check-in using the ACM?

You can choose to check-in for either all the booked flights that are open for check-in or the immediate flight you are travelling on. Should you have connecting flights on Singapore Airlines, we recommend you check-in 48 hours prior to the departure of your connecting flight.
