Auto-Check iPod Touch Email?

Hi guys, its me again.

Iv got an ipod touch and i can go into the mail app and check for emails there, but i want it to auto-check for emails when im connected to wifi. Is there any way i can set it to do this? is there an app that can do this for me? ANY WAY?

because im tired of constantly hitting the check for eml button lol

Go to "Settings" then "Fetch New Data" and make sure the Push feature is on.  If you scroll further down then you will see the "Advanced" section.    Make sure that the email account is set to "Fetch" rather than "Manual".   If you have more than one email account set up, you will have to change this feature for each email account.

I don't recall if this feature was an option under the old software, but it is definitely included in the iPhone 2.0 software update.
