If I have third party liability ONLY on my auto insurance and I got into an accident and it was my fault, I understand that the liability does NOT cover my car. But does it cover MY bodily injuries?

  1. No. If you were at fault for the accident, you cannot claim for your own injuries. It only covers injuries to your passengers or to third parties.

  2. No, 3rd party liability is only for other people.

If you're asking about actual medical bills, check your policy's dec sheet for either "Med Pay" or "PIP - Personal Injury Protection" (they're not required in all states); if you have either, that's what would cover your own medical bills due to injury, regardless of fault. That's bills only, not pain and suffering, which you wouldn't be owed since you're at fault.

    Hope this helps. Good luck.

  3. NO BUT PASSENGERS WOULD BR COVERED
