  1. its always a good idea to let your ins.co. know,if it wasn't your falt, then they can't up your rates, but you still need to make a report w/them

  2. I'm still waiting & my car accident wat oct of 07 - I expect a check any day now - literally

I did mention it to the person who handles our insurance.

  3. You have two options.

    1) Wait on the other companies reponse.  Since they're moving slow, then you'll mostly likely wait on a repair.

    2) File the claim with your company.  Depending on your coverage, your deductible may apply.  However, you company will reimburse you for your deductible once the other company pays...

  4. You can still call your insurance company & you definitely should.

They will contact the other person's insurance company & expedite the process for you.

  5. Of course you should have notified your insurance company.  You should have also notified the police.  Why wouldn't you ?  Do it now before it is too late

  6. J W, I recommend you find a local auto insurance agent to help. Since I live in Kentucky I can't recommend an agent in California, but here is an online resource that can help you. http://www.multipleautoinsurancequotes.c...
