Auto complete is permanent?

in MOZilaa firefoxz 2.0.0.13 somehow autocomplete turnedd on. but wen i go to tools it does not say internet options. it says options. i searched the whole thing and there is no option for autocomplete. everyone says go to tools, internet options, ircacy , save form information. but its not there

I just had this problem with Internet Explorer.  Once I deleted the browsing history, the autocomplete buffer was dumped so folks could not see where I had been.  Try that.  I use Firefox at work, but don't navigate anywhere I don't mind people knowing about, so I haven't looked it up.  Dumping the form info had no effect on the autocomplete in Internet Explorer like I was told it would.  It is probably the same for Firefox.
