Auto insurance: Found Wawanesa cheaper than Mercury?

Anyone in California find that Wawanesa is much cheaper than Mercury. For our two infiniti family the rates for 1 year was WaWa-$1150 vs Mercury ($1,650) What gives here?? Why the big disparity?

For auto insurance the most efficient way to get a low quote is do a policy comparison on auto policies. Make sure that you pick similar options with the same deductibles, auto type, location, etc so that all things are an accurate comparison.

The answer is because Wawanesa is much stricter on who they will accept as customers. Mercury is more lenient, so there for, is assuming a greater risk at having to pay a claim.
