Auto insurance company reccomendations - good/bad? ?

Question

I need to change auto insurance - I have USAA - available only to military - but either I'm having bad luck with them or they aren't that great. Anyone wanna weigh in?

Try to consider this one also. They are outstanding auto insurance company.

When we got married 30 years ago, we got Allstate (that's what my in-laws had) and we didn't look at State Farm which my did sold.

About 9 months later, Allstate canceled for no reason beyond the fact that their stats indicated that we were going to get into an accident so they canceled our policy before the accident. We got State Farm!

6 weeks later we were rear ended by a speeding car. The car flipped over and slid on the roof for  several hundred feet. We were not wearing seat belts and the car turned around us (e.g., husband was diving and ended up in back seat, passenger side. My infant son stayed in my arms the whole time.  State farm took care of the damages (totaled car) and our injuries, Even though they may cost a little more that other  they are worth it because we get good service.  We will never change!
