however, i suggest these:

1.) change your oil every 3,000 miles

2.) check transmission oil and filter...if oil doesn't look red and looks black or smells burnt, change it

3.) check pressure in tires once a month (when tires are cold)

4.) change antifreeze once a year

5.) manually inspect belts and hoses for wear

BMW oil change intervals are about 15,000 miles. Service 1 inspection every 30,000 and Service 2 inspection every 60,000. It costs plenty to maintain a BMW. If you have a newer vehicle still under the factory maintanance plan you may be able to upgrade for a longer time and mileage limit. It is a great idea, not only does it cover your oil changes and inspections but also your brakes, belts, and wipers. Everything adds up quick.
