can a auto finance company keep the belongings that's in your car once they reposess it?

personal possessions belong to you.  They must return them or make the vehicle available for you to remove them.  If you replaced the radio or wheels etc. they will be considered partt of the car.  You will have a hard time getting them to let you change them.  But the loose stuff is yours.
