Can someone help me compare and contrast the literary elements in the autobiographies of Frederick Douglass and Benjamin Frankline?

Thanks.

  1. In writing style, Douglass used a much more dramatic and personal style, in fitting with his much more dramatic story.

Also, Douglass seems to not have done any editing of his story to protect others or himself- all the warts are there for the world to see. Franklin obviously omits elements that would've seemed scandalous or damaged the reputation of others.
