Question:

Autographed Baseball?

I have an old autographed baseball that was given to me by a family member. Looks to be signed by either the 1960 or 1961 Dodgers. Ball was given to me in a protected case and has remained in the case as long as I've had it. Would like to know how to determine value of ball.

  1. if the ball is authentic and signed by the 60 or 61 dodgers you are looking at over a grand. the key signatures on the ball would be walter alston, don drysdale, duke snider and of course sandy koufax. if i were you i would look on line to see what those signatures look like and then find out if they have signed the ball. the only thing i can say is that if you do have an authentic 60 or 61 ball that is awesome but during those years the dodgers also produced a lot of replica signed balls that look pretty authentic.

  2. look on the ebay or some memorobilia website and see if theres any of the same signed ball and see how much its worth. or find a memorobilia website and call a collector or something

  3. You could take it to a place where they sell sports memorabilia, look on e-bay or perhaps buy a Beckett magazine at a news stand.  It would help to determine if there are any "big" names on it.

  4. Its valuable so dont lose it but if u want to no a money value then go to a store that sells that kind of stuff

  5. If it's signed by Drysdale, Koufax, Snider, and Hodges it should be worth quite a bit depending on the condition of the ball and the signatures.
